I am considering buying this laptop - http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/laptops-netbooks/laptops/laptops/hp-pavilion-15-n097ea-15-6-laptop-goji-berry-21750320-pdt.html

Can anyone give me their thoughts on whether it's good value for money or whether I could get something better? I am looking to spend around £400, no higher than £500, around 15" screen size (definitely no bigger, could consider around 13"). I don't have any preference to brand, want something that will last at least a couple of years, at least 500GB hard drive, at least 4GB RAM, battery life around 4-5 hours.
I only use my laptop for general Internet browsing, general things (Word, Excel, etc), and watching DVDs. I would like to be able to run The Sims 3 and Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 as well - will the above laptop be alright with that?

Thanks for any help.

avoid hp like the plague they have bloatware on it and half the hp programs just hog up the ram

if you want a decent laptop in uk go with medion for those that no very little about medion its a german brand that aldi sells the specs and quality are quite good

this should have no issues handling sims on medium

for a bit more cpu grunt power even with shipping its under your 500 budget
