Ipod touch 5th generation. Computer can't find the drivers.

Hi there! I'm have a huge problem with my Ipod touch 5th gen. I downloaded Itunes and then plugged my ipod into my computer. What happened is that my computer couldn't find the device driver for my Ipod. I went onto my mom's laptop and installed Itunes and plugged my ipod into it. It read my Ipod, and my ipod was connected to the laptop.

I was really hoping if someone can help me out with this terrible problem. (I really hate Apple) I have a bunch of music on my desktop, and I really want to fix this and put all my music into my ipod!

can you tell us about the desktop with the issue? Its make and model #'s or if its a custome build then the make and model # of the parts will do; and which OS is especially important considering the topic.

My computer has no issues at all. I have a ipod touch 5th generation 32GB. The memory is completely full. All I want to do. Is take ALLLL my media related files and Notes from my ipod. And move them to a folder on my computer so all my important information wouldn't be deleted.
