YouTube Videos too dark on Android Phone

Is it the phone (Optimus Pro) or is it YouTube. I swear that YouTube videos played fine about a month ago, but now they are too dark to view properly (faces and anything in shadow (inside shots) shows as just black). Outside is better, but I have turned all brightness controls up to the max---anyone else have this problem?

Its most likely the LED screen going bad. Idk what else i can say to help lol. Feel free to ask tho

I don't think so. All websites, photos, apps including Google Earth all clear and bright. There seems to be something about the format of the video that's causing the problem.
