Unlocking AMD Phenom x4 840

Hi everyone,

I'm seeking to unlock the additional cores in my 840. However, my bios doesn't have a AAC. It has a unlock cores (enable/disable), however, it doesn't seem to unlock the other two.

Mobo: Ga-78LMT-USB3
CPU: AMD Phenom x4 840

Any solutions?

Its not OEM btw

I's imagine the unlock cores option is more so for overclocking the existing cores and without Advanced Core Control, there really isn't a way to unlock them. The feature has to be built in to the motherboard.
