900€ budget gaming notebook

Hi guys i'm in need to buy a gaming notebook, my budget's 900€ max, i was looking a bit on the net and i found just two suiting my needs:

1) Dell Inspiron 17r platinum
2) Lenovo Ideapad Y580

I never played using a netbook and i don't know if full hd makes such a difference on a 17'' screen, so any advice would be nice. If you know others laptops within the budget name them aswell please. Also i would like to know if there is a tangible difference between i7 and i5.
