I recently made a hard reset (not factory reset from settings, but a hard reset using three buttons of my smartphone(volume button, power button, etc)) of my Galaxy S4 Mini.My question is:By doing this, have I rooted the phone and screwed its warranty if something happens with the software, or doing hard reset is not equal to rooting?Thank you.

Solution
No you have not. To root your phone you have to download a ton of stuff on your. Computer and connect t it. Hard reset will not mess your warranty up.

Maybe they list something when getting ROOT access to restore the phone.

Would be a strange way to do it, but in order to restore, Root access would almost certainly be needed.

If you did not change the OS or force new features, You are fine.
