Fitting a SSD into a Powerbook G4

So I want to get my old Powerbook up and running (hard drive is dead). Basically I was wondering if an SSD that I have in an eee PC 901 would just be an easy swap. Is there anything I'm missing, it won't be soldered to the MB or anything crazy like that would it? The 901 is the Windows version if that helps. Don't want to spend my lunch dismantling two laptops to find it wouldn't even work in the first place! Otherwise I'll just order an SSD tomorrow.

Would it be worth it over a standard hard drive? It's a bit of a pricey upgrade for an old machine and I'm worried the controller would bottleneck it.

Personally, I don't think it's worth the cost. I would go with the standard HDD.
