I need a new laptop, please help me choose.

I am saving up for a new laptop, but I need one that will not overheat as my current one (Acer Aspire 5742) does overheat pretty much all the time and doesn't do anything more than web browsing without a laptop cooler. I need the new laptop to do the following. Not overheat, Have a good fast processor, preferably one of these, (i3, i5, i7 A6, A8, A10), have a dedicated or dual graphics card, have more than 500 gb hard drive space, have 4gb or more ram. It will be used for the following, programming, video and photo editing, gaming, schoolwork.Do you think thee specifications are enough or too muchIf you could also tell me your thoughts about your current laptop I would be very greatful. I also have quite a low budget so please don't tell me to get Alienware as I have nowhere near that much money, I need a laptop for the above tasks for quite a low price.
