Just bought an HTC one on ebay and it says "Audio heard through the speakers is extremely distorted."

Hello I just bought a very lightly used HTC One on ebay and everything is in almost mint condition but the seller says audio heard through the speakers is extremely distorted. Anyway to fix it? Thanks

The best way to fix this is probably to get it repaired by HTC under the warranty. The HTC One has not been out for more than a year, so the device is likely still under warranty.

If this is a phone with carrier branding in the US - AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, Etc - then you can call your carrier customer service.
