I recently got into the subject of unlocking your video card and was astounded at the fact that people could unlock their cards to the next one in line. I came here to find out if i could unlock my gtx660(EVGA GTX 660 superclocked 2gb ddr5) to maybe a gtx660ti or even a 670. I don't know much about the subject and also don't know if this process is completely safe or not. I found a video explaining how to do it to a gtx660ti, but have yet to find anything on just the gtx660: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cp0ZpkakAJ8. Can anyone here explain to me whether i will be able to unlock my card or if i should stay away from it. Also if i do unlock it, does that mean that i may need a stronger psu to supply the card with enough power. I will leave system specs below for reference:

FX 4100 OCED TO 4.5GHZ
COOLER MASTER HYPER 212 EVO
EVGA GTX660 SUPERCLOCKED 2GB DDR5
ASROCK N68 VS3 FX MOTHERBOARD
CORSAIR CX500 WATT PSU
1TB 7200RPM HARDRIVE
8GB DDR3 RAM
NZXT GAMMA CLASSIC SERIES CASE

AMD cards are usually the ones capable of this, but no the GTX660ti is based on the same design as a GTX670. The GTX660 can not be "unlocked" to it, but it may be able to overclock to some similar performance levels.
