At present it happen to me. While power button been push, the fan are running, the start button is lid.... but just a few second it automatically shutdown with sound `dying'. It will continuous restart rapidly. So before it shutdown, I rapidly push keyboard button until it `hang'. Than I disconnect the adapter and connect back when all electric current is empty. Restart again, push all the keyboard button rapidly until `hang', disconnect power cable.... repeat and repeat until it start well as normal. .

Sounds like RAM memory, this would explain the failure to POST, System specs would help tremendously. Any Beeps? Anything at all on the screen when you start? What keyboard button are you pushing to get hang? Can you post a YouTube video of this process?
