The viewing angles on Acer tab are not good along with a lot of glare. Using it outside in the sun is difficult compared to other tabs.It also occasionally gets hot (95F). It also does not use the the traditional micro-USB for charging instead has its own proprietary power jack.On the other hand its battery life is impressive, a free copy of Office 2013 Home & Student (full versions of Excel, PowerPoint, Word and OneNote that run on the desktop and looks very good on its screen)
The Ideapad has only a single camera. But it has a good screen with +/- 85 degrees of viewing angle (Acc. to manufacturer). There PC Mark 7 scores are almost the same. Its battery on the other hand lasted just at about 6 hours almost 3 hours less than Iconia. Lenovo claims that the optional keyboard dock will double the battery life but still.
So I would suggest you to got with the Ideapad. The iconia has a proprietary power jack ( Which will annoy you in some point of its life) , and its screen's viewing angles are not at all great (Its a tab you need a decent viewing angle). But if the battery life is your main requirement then go look for alternatives like HP Envy x2 or Dell Latitude 10.
