Hi! I was just wondering if it was possible, safe, and won't deteriorate my phones battery if I used my Nexus 7 charger for it. I really just want a faster charge. The specs on the nexus 7 charge I want to use are

Input 100-240v 50/60Hz 0.3A
Output 5.0V 2.0A

And the stock charger is

Input 100-240v 200mA 50/60hz
Output 5V 1A

So will the non-stock charger be possible, safe, and won't deteriorate my phones battery?

Thanks, Jon

A usb charger is a usb charger for most devices(some may simply not charge without the stock charger, if this happens, no harm will be done).

Now if the devices is only designed to charge at 1 amp, it simply will not take any extra power from the other power supply(resulting in no improvement in charge rate.)

Simply put, You have nothing to loose and it will not damage the device.
