Greetings almighty computer wizards!
I am looking to buy a new laptop that can handle a bit of gaming, well more than just a bit.
I've heard plenty of good things about the Lenovo Y500 series, but a friend of mine owns an MSI laptop and swears by it.

I'm basically looking for your opinions on the different brands and models.
Also I'm a bit curious how the Lenovos double graphic cards improves things.
(They are both the exact same price, at least where I'm at)

Here are the specs:
Lenovo Y500: Core i7-3630QM / 8GB / 1TB + 16GB SSD / 2x GT650M 2GB SLI / 15,6" Full HD / Windows 8

MSI GE70 2OE: Core i7-4700QM / 8GB / 750GB / GTX765M 2GB / 17,3" Full HD / Win 8

Let me know what you all think!
Thanks in advance!

if your talking about the gtx650 sli then heres an article for that
http://www.gaminglaptopsjunky.com/650m-sli-vs-650m-and-750m-sli-vs-750m-sli-performance-investigation/
these results show the 650m at very min isnt behind
But how much are you paying for the 500? i can find that model i believe for 1k but the msi is 1200
edit: I read the chart wrong sorry

Thanks for your advice guys!
Not gonna lie, didnt understand much of that article, from what I could tell the GTX765M is the better one?
And a dual GT650M would reduce the battery life and could cause microstuttering. Which again would favour the MSI.
The Y510 doesn't seem to be available in my country so that's a no go..

If YOU had to choose one, bearing in mind they're both the same price, which one would you get?

If it was exactly the same price likely steer toward the msi just because the processor offers more power and since both gpus are close a single gpu should drain less power
The hdd isnt a big issue as most people dont fill 500gb even
