If you would have register your product with Samsung.com on theirs main site. After you're done with registering your product, go to SamsungDive.com and enter the email and password when you'd register your item From there you can lock, restore and located your device. Make sure you make an account when you register your device

There are steps that you can take and the first is to file a police report for a loat or stolen phone, next you can contact your cell phone provider to have them disable the sim card so no charges are applied to your account.
The following links are things that you can do if you choose to.

the battery is most likely completely dead by now. honestly there really isnt much you can do unless someone charges the phone.

....how can you just lose a phone? for something so valuable monetary wise people take it for granted. keep it in your pocket (or pocketbook) where it belongs.

well the thing is that its not that people take it for granted its more that we just dont realize its not on us, for example I lost my phone a week ago but up to the point where i lost it i would check if i had it about 1 time every 5 minutes and i would also usually walk hold onto it in my pocket. Some times people are stressed and they put stuff somewhere without realizing it and then its gone

@rob

getting angry with us for speaking the truth because you lost your phone is pretty piss poor attitude if you ask me.

registering your device or getting a tracking app while you had possession of your phone can definitely be a lifesaver in case you lose your phone outside your house. in case the phone is inside your house the first thing you can do is to call it. if you have it on silent or if the battery is dead there isnt a thing in the world you can do except hope and pray you find it.

i'm being brutally honest here since you were so unkind as to tell us to F off. sorry if you dont agree with it.

i havent lost any phone i've owned....ever. getting in the habit of placing your keys, phone and wallet in the same spot every day when you come home (or at least a similar spot) will reduce your chance of such incidents. also making your you turn your phone off silent mode when you are on your way home is a good idea as well.
