HELP !?!?!?!

Hello,
My android cell phone wont charge I hsd to use a piece paper to wedge it to the left and it says its chargeing but its not, I have only had the phone for maybe a year its a Samsung Galaxy Glide they say they dont make them bcecause it was a chirstmas speical my parents got it for my bithday for me. My friend already broke the glass screen and i got it fixed but it wont charge now and it dies at 74% wats wrong with my phone ????????????????

Sounds like there might be a broken connection between the charger port and the battery. Or the battery itself is corrupted. Take it to a cellphone store and ask if they can fix it and what it would cost.
