Transfer texts from samsung prevail to mac

Hi !
I have a galaxy prevail (boost mobile) and would like to keep the text messages that are on the phone, but am running out of mem. Can I transfer to my sd card, which is virtually unused, or transfer via usb to my mac (g5 quad)?

For help with this you can easily contact your cell phone provider and get help with transfering the text messages. You can have hem send you a copy of the messages and then you can delete them from the phone.
