PC BSOD during android update

Hi guys,

I just bought a sony ericsson xperia arc S. One of the first things i wanted to do was upgrade to ics, so i loaded pc companion and it started updating. About halfway through the update, my shoddy laptop decided to BSOD and now my phone only starts up with the Sony logo and then a picture of a phone with an exclamation mark next to it. Ive tried going through PC companion again but it needs the phone to be on to work. Please help guys, im kinda desperate
