Question my new operator cant answer

Hi

Today I switched operators and everything should have went smoothly but unfortunately it didnt. The main reason I switched operators was because of 3G coverage. My new operator Three.ie (Ireland) have better 3G coverage but I am not getting anything!! I have entered all the new settings and still I am only getting a 'G' signal and I am also getting a Roaming Icon appearing on my signal strength bar.

My handset is a Samsung Galaxy S2 and was originally purchased through my original operator O2 (Ireland). I have checked and the unit isn't locked and this has been confirmed by O2.

Does anyone here have any suggestions?

I would take it to your new operator and have them show you how to get 3g since they are saying that they are supplying you with 3g service and your paying them for it. As a paying customer you do have the right to the service that your paying for.

Yes, but they are blaming the phone! I was just wondering if anyone knows of a way to get the phone to see the 3G signal that I know is there.
