MIcro SD opens only in the phone but not in the PC

Hello, I used to take the micro SD memory out of my cellphone and with an adapter connected it to the pc for fast copy and delete files without the cellphone. but after inserting a friends Micro SD on my phone, something changed on the phone so now I can't see the micro SD with the adapter in my PC, I could format it with a panasonic SD tool, can access it via the cellphone and add files or delete them, but any time a try to use the adapter the pc doesn't recognize the memory, I tested the adapter with other memories and it works fine... I searched the www for a solution but nothing helped. some one knows what to do?

Sometimes on the adaptor there is a tiny slide switch that will lock the card and you have to slide it to the open side to access the card.
