Have completed NFSUG2 but can't unlock wide body or get mo..

Hi,

For PC version of NFSUG2 I have unlocked 100% parts (everything except
the wide body kit), got all mags/dvds, beat the opponent in the final
race, and have only completed only 69% of the game. Everytime I start
the game up it says I have completed the game and that there are no
more new races in which I can compete. In looking through the races I
can do in quick race mode, there are about 5-6 tracks I have not
unlocked, and, as mentioned earlier, I can't access the wide body kit.
Any suggestions on things I can do to unlock the wide body kit / unlock
the remaining races / complete more of the game?

You only get one wide body kit unlocked from an outrun in stage 5.
Otherwise, there are no wide body kits unlocked in career mode.
Also there's aren't any split spoilers (like the Lynx, except for
SUV's), and there aren't any front to back split hoods (like the trap).

I "added" this stuff to a savegame you can download though, plus
also added 3 performance uniques to all 5 career cars in this save
game. There's a readme.txt file in the zip that explains all this and
where to extract the game file.

Once you've completed the first stage, a new menu item, world map
appears in the main menu page. From the world map, you can pick
a stage, and then scan for races you haven't run. Once you find
a race you haven't run, start the race, pause it and restart.
You need the restart in order to get points and money for the race.

Once the final race is done, it's done. The percentage won't change anymore.
Now, think back; did you do all the outruns? All the SUV races? All the
unmarked/hidden races? This is my 4th time through, and I still think I'm
going to come up short by 10-20%.
The wide body kit's supposed to be unlocked by doing outruns (I got ONE,
it's still locked, and there are no more outruns left to do...)

The widebodykit is the last unique upgrade to be unlocked in the game:
It's unlocked by winning 11 outruns at stage 5.

Unique upgrades are specific to certain stages, so once you have passed
a stage you can no longer get the uniques from previous stages. Also
means, you cannot get the widebody after you've "completed" the game.
You need to start a new career...

Uniques are unlocked by winning outruns as follows:
Part Requirement
Hoods 4 wins at stage 2
Performance (Engine, Transmission, or Tires) 3 wins at stage 3
Rims 6 wins at stage 3
Spoiler 4 wins at stage 4
Vinyl 6 wins at stage 4
Performance (ECU, Turbo, or Brakes) 9 wins at stage 4
Performance (NOS, Weight or Suspension) 6 wins at stage 5
Widebody Kit 11 wins at stage 5

Thanks for the posts. Have started a new profile. Have realized that if
you own an SUV and drive in it, SUV only races who up in each level
[only when you're driving ghe suv]. AM hoping this, coupled with not
looking for races that were not on the level maps will get me to finsih
the whole game. We'll see.

Anyone know of a map that has the various areas of the nfusg2 world
labeled?

listen all of you I JUST GOT WIDE BODY KIT FOR MY CAR. All you had to do is just to win 11 outruns on stage 5. You get on the next stage when you complete all races on the map , do all url races and get a piece of map unlocked. there are only five stages and once youy comlete one of them you can't return them. After the 11th won outrun on stage 5 you get the message that you are cool and bla-bla-bla. He tells you to get over to the star which will be at the bottom left of the map. once you get there and and click the star, it will tell you that you have got some kind of time which i don't remember to get to the shop, it will be like usuall time race to the magazine cover only here the destination will be the body shop that you have to enter. Also when you get to the shop you will have the choice of five or four different looks for your car with wide body kit, think carefully which one to choose because after that you will have accses only for that type of wide body kit for that car. If you have another car you want to put wide body kit on than you have to win another 11 outruns on stage five with you other car because previous wide body kit will be avaliable only for the car that you won it with. Hallo,
These massages are probably posted long time ago, but however, maybe will someone come like me, searching for answers. It is possible to change percentage after you finish last race. Go to GARAGE than WORLD MAP and there you'll be able to see all races in game in all stages. When you select some race you will see is it finished or not and if it's not you can select SELECT EVENT and than finish race. Your percentage will increase
