Unfortunately, i am only using the default theme. i tried to carry the Nautilus theme over from firebird...but whenever i used it my scrollbars would dissappear.

btw, i have also been using firefox nearly exclusively since the day it came out. however, firefox refuses to connect to my mail server at work. obviously, the server interface preferrs dealing with IE. if anyone knows a way to fix this in mozilla, please say so.

I have been using firebird/firefox for the past 6 months and I have no major complains.

I seen a bit of improvement with the latest version, but not a lot. The bad thing is that it only comes with an installer now. I loved that about Firebird you could just download the file and put it on any computer, even if you didn't have the admin rights. Why don't they put both version (with installer and w/o installer) on the web?

it looks like you can download nightly builds, old builds, official (non-installer flavor) zip files, and windows-only version with installer here

btw, for the dude who liked the Nautilus theme for firebird...they now have a new Nautilus theme for firefox that WONT steal your scrollbars. im using it now. :)

Anyone tried the e-mail client ThunderBird? Is it better or equal to Outlook express?

Definitely YEAH!. Glad to be rid of IE. Easy to import IE bookmarks and much easier to 'manage' them.

I can't get FF to be the default browser. Several postings on the FF forums have not worked. Does anyone know how to make FF the default?

THanks for any help.
