Black screenon pc

Hello,
I have an acer aspire 5551 windows 7 64bit system 2gb with a black screen which will not even start in safe mode, this has been happening on and off for a week now but have been able to bring back in safemode ad install reg cure software but now nothing. the lights are all on and the fan is running can any one help please

Try an external monitor to see if it will load windows.
