Sony vaio laptop i pulled it apa won\'t turn on but is receiving power

I PULL MY SONY VAIO LAPTOP APART AFTER PUTTING IT BACK TOGETHER IT WON'T POWER UP NO LIGHTS NO SOUND JUST DEAD AM LEFT WONDERING IF THE RIBBON FROM THE POWER BUTTON CONNECTOR TO THE MOTHER BOARD IS DAMAGE

Hi :) 

Its not uncommon for amateurs to have this happen... as you just learned stripping/rebuilding a lappy is NOT like a PC...

TWO choices now...

1, Take it all apart again and fix whatever you did wrong..

2, Take it to a laptop repair shop and PAY them to rebuild it properly (expensive)

As brett said, and has probably seen like me, I get laptops in a big and have to figure out how to put it back together. You could have missed or bent any of the time cables that go in.

The key question, is why did you take it apart in the first place?
