Ccfl screen not working.

I have a dell inspiron 1545, The lcd screen does not light up. Replaced lcd power cable and inverter. Tried a new led converted screen with inverter removed. This did not work. The laptop works fine when connected to an auxillary screen. Can anyone help with this.

New backlight probably required for the existing screen.
