the y580 beats em all......
it has awesome specs plus it has a slot for adding an extra gpu in SLI.....which would multiply its gaming performance by leaps and bounds....lol....
adding an extra gpu would make it a real beast...
but i think it hasn't been released in india yet...
not sure though...my brother bought a y500 for 65000 rs and it too provides an extra slot for gpu addition....
the y580 has even better specs and it would definitely cost a few more bucks....
go for lenovo....don't hesitate....

in addition the lenovo counterparts provide a beautiful red backlit keyboard and a full hd 1920*1200 display option.....
my brother has added another gt650m in sli and i tell u what......(in y500)
his lappy manages 35+ fps in the 64 player map of bf3, namely the metro....on ultra at 1366*768 resolution....
two gpu's inside one laptop are bound to cause overheating....so make sure that if you add another gpu, grab a decent cooling solution...
best of luck...

basically what they do is that they convert the US price directly into indian rupees.....
but its a different case altogether brother....
the y500 costs 65k and the y580 costs even more........
if you are looking for the best gaming lappy under 50k, i'll contact you in a few hours....

and yes they do have blue ray supported dvd-rw....
its not silly of you ask so....coz nowadays cd drives are becoming a rarity as the ultrabooks are gaining ground.....

hmmmm....i checked those gpu on http://www.notebookcheck.net/ATI-M [...] 697.0.html for hp and http://www.notebookcheck.net/ATI-M [...] 825.0.html for lenovo and they are not good enough to run hitman absolution on medium and high....while this http://www.lenovo.com/products/us/tech-specs/laptop/ide... is good enough but i think it has heating issues and im not confirmed with which gpu it comes either 640LE or 650m(as per latest details)
