Hello,
packard bell easynote laptop
Boot fails with error 0xc0000185.
This unit has just arrived back from repair by Acer UK where the motherboard was replaced, the laptop is 1 month old
Please help with easy to follow steps

I assume you get the windows loading screen, followed by a BSOD which gives you the 0xc0000185 error.

It is possibly a driver issue, but more likely some form of malware. Do you get the same error if you boot into Safe Mode (F8 at startup)?
