Hi

I am currently using a HP Compaq 6710b (2.4ghz)and its to slow for what i use it for, i have already upgraded the ram to 4Gb but even that cannot keep up with my work.
i use a few applications at once:
3 x accounting programs
Skype
MSN
excel
Outlook
Firefox
IE

All at the same time
I have noticed under task manager under performance
Cpu is usualy @ 100%
Physical memory
Total = 3036
Cached = +- 1562
available = +- 1728
Free mostly = 0 - 10

now the trick question, im thinking of upgrading the HDD (still standard mechanical HDD) to an SSD, will that give me more speed for what i need?

If the problem is with the slow CPU, a SSD is not going to help.
