Help me pick a new laptop

atm i have a pos Toshiba satellite c655d and on game i get max 30 fps staning still XD so im looking at geting a new laptop to come close to my fx 8120 and gtx 550 desk top plz help me

Only you can answer, but think about it this way:

1. What size display do you "have" to have?
2. What quality of display do you want? IPS?
3. What type of video card do you want?

It looks like you're looking for a budget gaming laptop. At that price, I believe the only choice would be AMD. I would like to give you links to newegg laptops, but at these prices, these laptops are very good.

Your not going to find a Laptop that can come close to your desktop in that price range. However, I agree with Genbell the best gaming laptop your going to find under $400 is one with a AMD APU. A10 with 7660G is as close as you can get to your desktop for the budget.

I3's and 5's will only have Intel 3000 HD graphics or dedicated GPU that will push the laptop out of the price range. I7 is out of the price range with the HD 4000 still not going to top the APU in terms of GPU. There are some laptops with both APU A8 and dedicated GPU with crossfire in which case you might be able to top the A10 in terms of graphic performance.
