I'm going to buy Asus N56VZ with GT 650M but I'm not sure whether I should buy it with i7-3630QM or i5-3210M. The one with i7 has 250gb more harddrive and 2gb more ram than the one with i5 but it costs 200 euros more and I don't really want to spend that much for a laptop.
Is it worth to buy the i7 version for the extra 200 euros if I will mainly play BF3 with it. Is there a noticeable FPS drop when I should choose i5 over the i7?

I have n56vz with i7 quad core 8gb 1600ddr3 ram and 650m. I would recommend the i7 version purely because it is a quad core, over the i5 3210 which is only dual core. 6gb would be enough to play battlefield. I will replace my 750gb 7200rpm hd with a 240gb intel 330 ssd which I already have, just been trying to figure out how to make recovery disks to restore win 8 pro onto the ssd. I would recommend you do the same.

Yeah, i7 is definitely over i5 but I would like to know whether it makes noticeable difference with BF 3

The i5 3210m is just enough I assure you. You really wouldn't notice much difference in overall performance between the i5 and i7. What actually makes a difference here is the SSD you're going to use. It will make your computer blazingly fast.
Still, if your budget allows, the i7 would definitely be the better choice.

Huge, in multiplayer. BF 3 is CPU-intensive, so having those two extra cores will make a large difference.
