So I got these 2 laptops which I wanna buy for this christmas, (I want it especially for gaming) around a ($600-$700 budget) so I got these 2 laptops, the first one is a Toshiba Satellite P850-BT3G22 which has Intel Core i5 and 6GB Ram, and a GPU Nvidia GeForce GT 630M and the other Laptop, a HP Envy dv6-7245us with AMD A10-4600m with 6GB Ram and a GPU Radeon HD 7660g, so... Im not sure which one to choose.. The Toshiba costs 700 bucks and the HP costs $600, and I dont know, both have great processors but im not sure between the GPU's here are the links for the laps

For $700 you can get two better laptops.

MSI CX61 0NF-257US Notebook Intel Core i5 3210M(2.50GHz) 15.6" 6GB Memory 750GB HDD 5400rpm DVD Super Multi NVIDIA GeForce GT 645M

SAMSUNG Series 3 NP355V5C-S01US Notebook AMD A-Series A10-4600M(2.30GHz) 15.6" 6GB Memory DDR3 1600 750GB HDD 5400rpm DVD Super Multi AMD Radeon HD 7660G + HD 7670M Dual Graphics

The Samsung is better for games, but currently out of stock (at least at newegg).

ok, another question... Will the toshiba satellite run Crysis 3 or when it comes out? or Crysis 2? at descent graphics and fps?

Not sure what the requirements are for Crysis 3, but I don't think it will be more intensive than the original Crysis. Having said that, the GT 630m should be able to run Crysis on medium settings with an average of low 30's frame rates based on my experience with a GT 550m. The GT 630m is basically equal to a GT 540m. Crysis 2 is not as demanding as Crysis or Crysis: Warhead so you should get higher frame rates than in the original games.

The GT 645m in the MSI laptop above should be a little more powerful than my GT 550m in Crysis you should be able to get high 30's to 40 FPS on medium settings. That means in Crysis 2 you should get a little better performance than that.

Not sure about the Samsung with the dedicated Radeon HD 7670m, but it will be better than the nVidia GT 645m.

The DV6t configuration above is not good, because it includes the stock 1366x768 display and not the upgraded 1920x1080 display. Generally, you should not buy the HP DV6 in any configuration that includes the stock 1366x768 display and not the upgraded 1920x1080 display. For similar reasons, I also couldn't really recommend the Toshiba you're looking at, for $700. As for the $599 HP, that's a price where it gets a bit tougher to find decent displays, but there are a lot of other reasons that laptop isn't a good value anyway.

HP DV6t (NVIDIA GT 650M, 15.6" 1920x1080 display) - $722 + tax
- Saved Configuration: http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/shopping/load_configuration.do?destination=review&config_id=7674563
- Apply coupon code NB6893
- Don't downgrade the GPU to the GT 630M or to Intel HD 4000 graphics. The GT 650M is considerably faster than either, and if one of the lower GPU options would work just as well for you then I would probably suggest getting an entirely different laptop.
- Don't downgrade the display to 1366x768. The 1366x768 display makes things onscreen large, and is a low-grade LCD panel with very poor image quality due to low contrast. The availability of the upgraded 1920x1080 display is part of why I'm recommending this laptop; I wouldn't be recommending this laptop if it didn't offer it.
