Acer laptop free online troubleshooting

i have a acer aspire 5532, the power jack broke, so i replaced it. the power is now working fine but the monitor is blank...just black, the leds are on but no display.

I hv an Acer Aspire 6935G Laptop ...i tried to turn it on today but it will just show a black screen and a blinking cursor in the top left hand corner....it doesnt even show the Acer logo or Bios menu have tried removing the Hdd bt stil no Bios ....have also tried removing all power but still no change....it always remains on.the black screen .

What could be the problem ??
Can you fix it &at how much ????
