I am thinking about getting a laptop because i need a portable computer and my desktop obviously isnt portable.

I found this one for relatively cheap and was wondering if it would work well with minecraft and not be laggy. I play minecraft a lot in my free time and it would suck if i got this laptop and it was laggy.

Thanks for your time!

It depends on how far you want to see and what render distance you have it set to. If you set the render distance to far with this laptop it will lag badly. If you set it to tiny it might be ok.

I don't know minecraft but I do know that all game developers list the minimum and recommended equipment requirements for their games. If your computer is less than their recommended you can expect problems.

If it uses HD4000 integrated you might be ok since the 4000 is better than the intel hd 3000 graphics. You might be able to get away with small or normal with optifine installed but don't hold your breath since it is integrated graphics. I would suggest a laptop with a low end dedicated gpu.
