Acer laptop Windows 7 built in mic not working quit a few weeks ago. Keeps telling me I have no mic is there any way to get it restored

First, don't post email here for security reason......

Second had u try reinstall the newest driver for mic/audio from acer support site...
(or u can try using old driver that in driver cd/dvd that ships with the laptop)
