Hey guys, Im having an issue with some games not being at good performance on my 6 month old laptop.
It is an Alienware M17x r4
Specs: I7-3610QM @ 2.3GHz
6GB of samsung RAM 1600Mhz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675M
2 x 250GB HDD in Raid 0
My problem is that I can run Battlefield 3 and Planetside 2 on medium @ 60 Fps.
But I have an Issue just playing Minecraft, It has to be on tiny view distance to be playable.
Is my NVIDIA card not kicking in while playing minecraft, and only the onboard video is running it. Or is Minecraft too CPU intensive for my CPU.
The onboard video is Intel HD Graphics 4000.
