Dell vostro 1510 troubleshooting

I have a problem with a laptop Dell Vostro 1510. The problem is. When i press the power botton tge laptop turn on. But then no image appear and then it try to make it self test and the the cd rom make a noise and then the laptop turn off itself. Please can you help me with these. Thank you.
