hi guys so i just bought dell inspiron 15r special edition and it is 15.6 screen and the native resolution is 1920 x 1080 and when I play a game like battlefield 3, i get a really low fps on my native resolution ( 25 - 30 fpx on all low setting) so I tried to change the resolution to 1366x768 because most of normal 15.6" laptops have that native resolution.. but the game looks so blurry and i can't see anything :(...

Do you think i shouldve bought a laptop with 1366x768 resolution for better gaming performance??

is there a way to change my native resolution so i get a clear and sharp image when i lower it to 1366x768.? :(

I shouldve bought a 1366x768 acer laptop that had a same specification as my dell 15r se laptop D: because i think playing on native 1366 x 768 with higher graphic setting with stable frame rate gives me better gaming experience than playing on native 1920x 1080 with all low setting.........

Should i return my laptop..??

The 7730m is just not powerful enough depending on your budget, there are better options out there. http://www.samsclub.com/sams/asus-g55vw-laptop-intel-core-i7-3610qm-750gb-15-6-black/prod6770053.ip?refcd=GL05251200010028&pid=_CSE_Google_PLA_Office-Electronics&ci_src=17588969&ci_sku=sku7324157S has the ASUS G55 ($1250) with a much more powerful 660m or you can customize your build at sagernotebook.com (~$1000) and choose from a plethora of GPU options that will drive the games more like the way you expect it.

Obviously the sky is the limit and you gotta decide what your budget is and what will give you the best bang for your buck. Would I return it? If it doesn't perform the way you want yes.

And no you cannot change your native resolution.
