I am looking for a gaming laptop.

I need 15.6" Screen Size FHD Anti Glare
6gb Ram of more (1600mhz since its faster)
I7 3610 QM (Good for gaming)
500gb+ 7200 RPM
Good Battery Life (I want 3hour+ non gaming for college next year)
Prefer a GT 650m (I play games like allods (comparable to WoW graphics) But i might start playing more intensive games later which is why i want the GT 650m and i dont necessarily want to play ultra settings.

This is what im considering at the moment

I assume it will be in the $800 range during black friday.

The only problem i have with it is that it states 2 hours battery life during normal use (web browsing) that seems unbelievable to me because the 17.3" version says the same and the 15.6" is supposedly smaller so it should use less.

It has a 6 cell battery.

My question is. if i was using it for school like lets say taking notes in word at 50% brightness would it last like 3-4 hours?

I also looked at the Asus N56VZ but its $1149 and only a 5400 Hard drive

How much slower would boot/opening games be on a 5400 vs a 7200

Also if you know of any other laptops with the specs i mentioned for under $1000

They must have I7 3610Qm
GT 650m 2gb
6gb ram+ (4 is ok if its a good computer)
500gb+ hdd
FHD 15.6" screen
Windows 7 Installed

also if u know any black friday deals or cybermonday deals let me know please

and how much faster is I7 vs I5 in gaming?

Also if you could show me some gaming laptops with very good battery lives with the specs i mentioned above under $1k thank youuu

A good/cheap gaming laptop with long battery life doesn't exist. For gaming, a laptop under 1k is not going t get you really far. You should just buy a laptop for school and build a desktop computer for gaming.

Yes i understand but i want to stop using desktops ( this might sound foolish lol) I like the mobility of laptops since you can move from room to room.

How much would you estimate the GE60 with GT 650m battery would last if it was put on 50% brightness and im not super with computers but if i switched it to the integrated graphics how much battery do u think i would havE?

i also heard that if i lowered the resolution from FHD to something like 1366x768 i would get like 4 hours? or like 100% battery life increase. Is this true?

Ive never used an anti-glare laptop before and the Y580 did look very attractive and it also stated that it gets up to 4 hours battery life which doesnt make sense to me because it uses GTX 660m so i might just get that since i dont go outdoors so much or play with light. What do you think?

2 hours of battery seams low even for a gaming laptop. But yes if you turn off wifi and all that stuff (just like a phone), you should be able to get more battery life But i have no idea how much.
