You want to know a how much for a 10 years old laptop? How much do they want?

That's a really, really old laptop. If you JUST want to listen to music CD's and that's all, just go get a $25 cd/mp3 player. That laptop probably isn't even worth $50 in great condition. It's a 1.3GHz Athlon 1500+ for crying out loud.

I would offer to take it off their hands for free. Otherwise they'd have to pay a trash man to dispose of it.

You can actually be quite hipster if you rock out with your discman and caselogic of disks at your trendy independent coffee shop...

For 2 weeks, find a friend to loan you something.

$10 used to me seems like a good price for such an item especially if you want a specific trendy retro model:
