V3-551g botteneck?

My specs:
A6-4400m dual core 2.7-3.2ghz
500gb 5400rpm
Radeon HD 7670m
1x4gb ddr3 1333mhz

Basically i feel as the the one stick of ram is bottlenecking my games and regular performance of the laptop. And for some reason battlefield 3 will barley run on all low settings. (And yes i do have the latest drivers.) Any suggestions,

P.s. i tried to put a 2gb stick ini had laying around but made my games very laggy even though it was the same type of ram latency and speed wise.

I would definitely go with 2 sticks, and would upgrade to 1600Mhz. The trinity chips need the bandwidth of the 1600 and it will help out a lot.

i'll give it a shot with a 4gb cause i have one laying around......( in my stepdad's computer xD ) But will it help even if im only running the 7670m?

Use fraps or something and see how much fps you are getting. The 7670m has dedicated memory so 1600 isn't a big deal. http/www.notebookcheck.net/AMD-Radeon-HD-7670M.69483.0.html This says an average of 36 fps on low for bf3 but those were with i7/8gb ram.
