Can an hp pavilion dv6 run skyrim

I want a laptop that can run games for when I travel

My Pavilion dv7 struggles to run it on the absolute lowest settings with it's hd 6490m graphics.

Not sure what your specs are for the particular computer you're looking at, but from my experience it's difficult. If you don't already have a gaming desktop, I'd suggest investing in one of those. If you already have one, then you're gonna want to take a look at the GPU the laptop you're getting has...then check out some benchmarks on it.
