for gaming n normal use

have heard that dell has issues with switching to dedicated graphics card and has heat up issues
hp has great repo but is kinda expensive and has 7650m as compared to dell's 7730/7670m

HP has a horrible reputation... and heat problems with the majority of their laptop series.

Although the HP laptop has a bigger and faster hard drive, the graphics card on Dell's Inspiron is better. Neither brand have high reputations, but personally, I'd go with a Dell over HP.
