Hello,
I am buying a bulb every year now i have a thousand white and black dots on over the screen. I also know three other households that are doing the same. This sounds like a manufacture problem.

Hello,

Wow. That is a serious problem. My Westinghouse 47" HDTV from ~5 years ago is still going strong, besides a minor HDMI problem.

Your best bet is to send it in for warranty. If it's out, well...not sure what else you could do (sell it once it's repaired, and get another?).

use google and see if there a light engine issue with the tv..there have been class action on other tv over the years from toshiba and sony for bad light engines...where the blub was so hot it burnt out 2000-3000 hours. a lot of the new tv use led blubs and not the high powered older bulbs that used to burn out from the heat. also check your state lemon laws..you may be able to have the tv replaced or refunded. or have an arbitrator look at your case.

looks like people trying to get a class action for the defective dlp chip.
