Hello,
How do I ensure that I can track my Toshiba laptop when stolen?

You can't unless you stick a GPS transmitter on it and get luck.

You can use software taking like this

But all it is is basically spyware that transmits general information to the company,.like the network the laptop is connected to etc. with out going into detail that software would be worthless against any theif with.a brain, and about as worthless against one without one.

It's much more effective and easier to simply not let someone steal it and buy homeowners/renters insurance just in case
