Sorry to open another thread, but I need your opinion on my situation.
The two laptops Acer 5560 and Acer 5560G have identical specs which are as follows:

CPU: AMD A6-3420M Quad Core
GPU: Integrated AMD Radeon 6520G
RAM: 4GB DDR3
HDD: 500GB

However, the 5560G has an additional AMD Radeon 7670M which allows the use of Dual GPU but this adds an additional cost of £45 to the price making the Acer 5560G cost £375.

Do you think that it's worth the extra £45 bearing in mind I will be gaming on modern games but not so demanding ones (e.g any call of duty game and minecraft) or would you recommend just getting the 5560 for £330 and using the rest of the money elsewhere? What's your opinion on that specific gpu? Thanks

the extra 45 is well spent, will eat your battery but can be disabled if u r not gaming, but u should definately look for an a8, twice the cores of the a6, not a really impressive apu, a8 are adequate but barely

Thanks, I tried looking for some a8 laptops but they were all over £450 and didn't have a dedicated GPU so it didn't seem worth the money. I'd rather have the a6 with a dedicated graphics card for cheaper

Yeah they're quad cores and can easily be overclocked to an extent that meets my needs

Whats this link for? that dual cpu is lower on the gpu benchmark list than the 7670m.

I see, but amd have been really generous with the A series and given them a much higher voltage than is actually needed for it to be stable and so if I do decide to overclock, aslong as I monitor it's stability it'll be alright
