Acer Aspire 3000

Hello,
Hi-- I have an old Acer Aspire 3000. It's frozen on the opening screen. No curser, no keyboard action. I've tried rebooting. Should I toss it?

You can attempt to use F8 on start up, see if it'll boot into safe mode. Or, you can probably get into BIOS and (if option) opt to by-pass error messages. You may not have a stable computer but it might run okay...
If that doesn't work and no one else has better options, then toss it or... it might also be worthwhile (I think) to experiment with it, take it apart, reassemble it - can't hurt anything, could be fun (challenging anyway)- might just find a loose connection or some easy internal fix.
