Do hp laptops have hdmi input

I have an hp pavilion g6 2008tx which has an hdmi port. I'm not sure if it supports input like connecting a ps3 with an hdmi cable. And if it does have input, I dont know where to change the display settings on my laptop. Would be great if someone could point me in the right direction.

No it does not have an input, the HDMI is an output only.

To the best of may knowledge only some (maybe all) Alienware laptops have HDMI inputs.
