Hello everybody,
I will be going back to college soon and i need a computer which can handle basic computing (browsing, writing papers ,etc.) and occasional session of BF3,Max Payne 3, Borderlands2, and other upcoming Fps ,at medium settings. I have to take a laptop to the classes and labs.
Is it worth it to get a gaming laptop for $1000 or should i get a netbook for $350-450 + budget gaming pc $600-700(maybe a mini-Itx rig)(already got a monitor and other peripherals).
I am really not able to decide between the two options, they both have their own advantages and disadvantages:
gaming laptop:
pros: power on the go, only one system to manage and maintain
cons: bulky, low battery life
pc+netbook:
pros: good portability and battery life, good gaming on pc
cons: have to manage and maintain two systems
Please help me make this difficult choice, I am certain that many would have faced the same conundrum. Thanks in advance.
