Hi everyone, I have an HP G60T that I got as a present in 2009. I know it's crappy, but I'm hoping it will last another year so I don't have to buy a new computer before I graduate. Here's the issue: a few months ago I was downloading an update for TF2 on Steam, and because my cousin was streaming a movie on Netflix I went and plugged my computer into my router with an Ethernet cable so I could download it faster. My wireless card's never worked the same after that. It never automatically connects to any network, and when I manually connect it, it takes a long time for it to connect. It still works, it's just annoying. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver and reconfiguring my networks, but it just doesn't do what I want it to. Any ideas?

Thanks, Alex

right click on my computer and select manage
click on device manager > network adapters
right click on the wireless adaper and select uninstall
up on the top click on search for new hardware and it will reinstall it.
kind of common with cheaper wireless adapters

I forgot to mention that it's a laptop, will this still work?

EDIT: Wait a minute, I've done this already and it didn't work.
