HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook - buttons above keyboard

The row of buttons (sound/volume, WLAN on/off, etc.) above the keyboard are suddenly not working. They used to work just fine and then all of a sudden just quit. Don't know if I accidently turned them off somehow or what. Can anyone assist please????

Have you recently taken a part the laptop? Make sure you didn't unplug the ribbon cable and forgot to put it back in.

Reinstall the drivers for it, check online at hp.com, and go to the Drivers page, find your model and get the drivers from there.
